The Institute (IPS)
IPS commenced its mission imparting classes for CA Intermediate
and CA Final Examinations in 1998 as a part of the then M/s. Kolath Management
Consultancy Services. IPS is among the very few coaching institutes in
IPS enrolls students for its classes, which are handled by
highly qualified and experienced faculty. IPS ensures that its students are not
only equipped in passing the professional examinations, but also in facing the
challenges of the profession. IPS has always ensured that a proper foundation
is laid for its students.
IPS classes for CA PE I will commence in June and for CA PE
II will commence in July every year.
Accomplishments
Over a period of 5 years, IPS has brought out the best
results. IPS have produced rank holders and have maintained a high pass
percentage. IPS over the years maintained 90% subject pass and 50% group pass
in CA Intermediate, CA PE II and CA Final Examinations. IPS always maintained small batches and provided
individual attention to its students.
PROFESSIONAL EDUCATION (COURSE – II)
Who can join the PE II Course?
Ž A student who have become a graduate, satisfying the following conditions.
(a)
Commerce graduates with Accountancy, Auditing
and Mercantile Law or Commercial Law as full papers and with a minimum 50% of
the total marks. (‘Full papers’ means a paper carrying not less than 50 marks).
(b)
Non-commerce graduates with mathematics as one
of the subjects and with minimum 60% of the total marks.
(c)
Non-commerce graduates with subjects other than
mathematics and with minimum 55% of the total marks.

student who have passed the Professional Education (Examination – I).
Ž A
student who have passed the CA Foundation Examination under the CA regulations,
1988.
Ž Candidates
who have passed the Final examination conducted by the Institute of Cost &
Work Accountants of India (ICWAI) and Institute of Company Secretaries of India
(ICSI)
How to register for the PE II Course?
A
student can register for the PE II Course by making an application in the
prescribed format and payment of the prescribed Registration and Tuition Fee
for Professional Education (Course II) (at present Rs. 2650/- for Students in
What is the duration of PE II Course?
The PE
II Course has a minimum duration of ten months.
When can you register for the PE II Course?
The
registration for PE II Course can be done throughout the year. The examinations
for PE II Course are conducted twice every year by ICAI in May and November.
When is the last date for registration if you have to appear in May and
November Examinations?
As the
minimum duration of PE II course is ten months, the last date will be as
follows.
For May
Examination 30th
June of the Preceeding year.
For
November Examination 31st
December of the preceeding year.

The
level of knowledge expected in these subjects is working knowledge.
Should I study only in an Accredited Institution to
obtain eligibility for PE II?
It is
not compulsory to study in an Accredited Institution. Students attending classes in accredited
institutions will be required to follow relevant guidelines. Other students will have to follow Postal
Test Paper Scheme or attend Sunday Test held by ICAI to obtain the eligibility
certificate for PE II.
What role can Institute of Professional

IPS will provide free counseling to students
interested in joining the PE II Course.

interested in joining the PE II Course.

IPS conducts classes in the utmost professional
manner to students of the PE II Course.

You can apply for joining IPS by submitting the application and declaration in the prescribed format attached with the prospectus and payment of Registration and coaching class fee either in lump sum or installment basis.

Rules and Regulations
- In case of leave, a student shall submit self – signed leave letter in prescribed format in duplicate. A copy of the same shall be send to the parents along with monthly progress report.
- In case of delay in payment of fees a fine of RS. 10/- per day exclusive of service tax will be charged.
- In case of inordinate absence of more than 5 days the students shall be liable for dismissal.
- The student shall not cause any loss to any assets in the premises of IPS or of other persons.
- The student shall come neatly dressed preferably in formal wear.
- The student shall at all times behave with dignity and discipline

in and around the premises of IPS.

shall attend the classes regularly.
- The student
shall appear and attend all
examinations conducted by IPS. In case of any indiscipline during
examination the student shall be liable for disciplinary action.
10. The student shall pay his fees and other dues , if any within his prescribed period.
The student shall be liable for dismissal in case of fees and dues outstanding more than 5 days.
11. IPS reserves the right of admission to students.
12. IPS shall not be liable if the classes are cancelled due to reasons beyond its control.
13. IPS reserves the right to alter class timings and faculty.
