GET(Green Environment Team) has been registered as a Society under the Travancore Cochin Socio Economic and Charitable Societies Registration Act. The Society considers as its main objectives, the conservation of nature, environment and wildlife. Research studies on both flora and fauna are also the objectives of GET.

The Managing Committee of GET considers spreading the message of nature conservation in all its manifestations as its major goal. GET intends to make small groups of students with genuine interest in nature studies in educational institutions. GET will also impart training in wildlife survey methodology to these student groups so that they may offer themselves as volunteers in wildlife surveys organized by Government or Research agencies. Educative programmes are designed for these student groups to equip them in conservation activities and they will be offered as Volunteers.

GET will also conduct Training camps, Nature camps, Field visits to Wildlife sanctuaries and National Parks and indoor sessions involving resource persons. An interactive website of GET is under construction.

Kolath Management Consultants Private Limited is also planning to conduct surveys and research studies based on Wildlife sanctuaries and National Parks in South India. KMC intends to give the responsibility of the survey to the members and volunteers of GET.

GET will also utilise its knowledge and manpower to assist the Government of Kerala in its conservation efforts. GET plans to have collaborative activities with other organisations engaged in conservation efforts around the globe.
